CANCELLATION POLICY

•	The Aspen Writers’ Foundation reserves the right to change or cancel any speaker and/or session without notice.
•	All sales are final. Passes, tickets, season subscriptions and class tuition are non-refundable. Tickets/passes that have not been used may be redeemed at the end of the season for a charitable contribution receipt equal to the value of the ticket/pass.
•	Your pass/ticket/subscription guarantees you a seat up to 10 minutes before event start time. In the event of a sell-out, all seats unclaimed 10 minutes prior to start time — including those of passholders — will be released for sale.
•	Aspen Summer Words Writing Retreat Upon acceptance, a non-refundable deposit (half-tuition for the juried workshops, full tuition for all other retreat classes) is required to secure your spot. This is payable by credit card only. For students of the juried workshops, we will charge your credit card the balance of the 2nd half of the tuition on May 26. If the AWF cancels a writing retreat session, we will refund your deposit in full. No other refunds will be given.
•	Scribes & Scribblers Requests for refunds must be submitted by mail or fax to the Aspen Writers' Foundation. A cancellation fee of half-tuition will be charged for refund requests received on or before 30 days prior to the start of the workshop. No refunds will be given after that date.
•	Dispute Resolution I understand that if I am dissatisfied with any aspect of an AWF program, the matter should immediately be brought to the attention of the Executive Director. Every effort will be made to resolve the situation in the most appropriate manner. In the event any matter is not resolved to the satisfaction of the participant, the forum for any dispute arising therefrom shall be limited to Pitkin County, Colorado and shall be governed by Colorado law, except that any federal claim of infringement of copyright shall be brought in Denver, Colorado. Participant specifically waives any right, which might otherwise exist, to institute any action against the Aspen Writers' Foundation outside of Pitkin County, Colorado (other than for federal claims of copyright infringement, which shall filed only in Denver, Colorado).
