GETTING TO ASPEN

AIR TRAVEL
Aspen is one of the most accessible Rocky Mountain resorts. With dozens of nonstop and connecting flights weekly into Aspen/Sardy Field, you can start from either coast and be here in half a day, give or take. There are other nearby airports that provide additional options for travel into Aspen:

Eagle County Regional Airport (EGE)
70 miles from Aspen, 1.5-hour drive
served by American, Continental, Delta, Northwest, United, and US Airways

Grand Junction/Walker Field (GJT)
125 miles from Aspen, 2-hour drive
served by Allegiant Air, American, Delta, Frontier, Great Lakes Airlines, United, and US Airways

Denver International Airport (DIA)
220 miles from Aspen, 3.5-hour drive
served by the major airlines

GROUND TRAVEL
Connecting to Aspen can be easy with the variety of options available for ground transportation. Remember, once you're in Aspen, it's easy to get around without a car. Our conference site and event venues are within walking distance and also accessible by the city's free cross-town shuttle.

Roaring Fork Transit Authority (RFTA)
Free bus service to/from the airport and around Aspen, with fare bus routes serving the entire Roaring Fork Valley.

Scheduled and chartered services are available from Denver, Grand Junction and Eagle airports directly to your lodging. You can also find these services awaiting your arrival at Aspen airport.

Car rental
Aspen airport is served by most major car rental companies, including Alamo, Avis, Budget, Dollar, Enterprise and Hertz.
Driving Directions

Train service
Amtrak provides service to Glenwood Springs (40 miles from Aspen) on the California Zephyr. The line runs between Oakland, CA and Chicago, IL. Public bus service is available from Glenwood Springs to Aspen.
